Project: Victorianheart.com
Client:
Victorian Heart / ODMinc.com
Role: Art Director & Designer
Project
Challenge: Redesigning
a site is always a challenging experience because it requires deconstruction
and then a gradual rebuild. Victorian Heart was no exception. The original
site was an awkward bulletin board site that made poor use of colors, layering
and images, which are important principles of quilting. The revamped site
uses the principles of quilting to produce a website with a textile look and
feel.

Project: Isramworld
Client:
Isram Travel / ODMinc.com
Role: Designer
Project Challenge: Site redesign. The client needed to improve the brand identity and user experience of the existing sites. The new site design had to seduce and enchant user with images and descriptions of exotic destinations. However, the design could not be over-the-top with the use of Flash, sound or video. Rather, the design had to be able to standalone and exemplify exquisiteness. The design also had to be flexibility and scalable for future database-driven augmentations. In short the client needed a template site that could be applied to all of their brands without looking like the out-of-the-box cookie-cutter site.
